MOUNT KISCO, NY — Here are some of the recent incidents to which Westchester County police responded in the village.

Friday, Nov. 2 – 1:33 p.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to a laundry on Main Street on a report that a large door mat had been taken from the businesses within the previous hour.

7:25 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to the Mount Kisco train station on a report that an elderly man had fallen there and suffered a head injury. The man was taken by ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital Center.

Thursday, Nov. 1 – 5:26 p.m. – A resident of Smith Avenue reported that a vehicle without license plates was parked in front of his home. An officer determined that the vehicle did have a temporary registration affixed to the front window.

Wednesday, Oct. 31 – 2:51 p.m. – Officers responded to Kisco Avenue on a report of an activated fire alarm there. No condition was found. Officers subsequently determined that an alarm had actually sounded in error at a business on Kiscona Road. The business owner was advised to contact his alarm company and have them correct his address in its system.

7:22 a.m. -- Westchester County Police responded to Carpenter Avenue on a report that a woman was feeling dizzy and possibly having a diabetic emergency. Westchester EMS also responded and treated the woman at the scene.

Monday, Oct. 29 – 1:55 p.m. – Westchester County Police responded to the 600 block of Main Street on a report of a man passed out in a vehicle who might need medical attention. The man told officers he had just finished eating lunch and had dozed off for a bit.

12:06 p.m. – A village resident reported that his daughter’s ex-boyfriend has been sending her harassing text messages. He requested that officers attempt to reach the man to advise him to desist or she will press charges.
