Enjoy a traditional New England Contra Dance on Saturday, May 10th! Live music by the band Fingerplay from NYC, and dances led by renowned caller Dan Pearl from Boston. Beginners are always welcome! Be sure to arrive by 7:30 for a free lesson. We are friendly and sociable and you don't need to come with a partner. Comfortable, casual clothing is recommended and clean, soft-soled shoes.
These dances have been going on in New England since the 1800s and have spread across the country. Come see what it's all about! Admission $15. First-timers receive a coupon for a free dance.
