Tarrytown Fire Department Extinguishes Fire at Mrs. Green's

In Tarrytown, a small fire broke out on Friday behind Mrs. Green's deli counter and the market's fire alarm was set off. The blaze was quickly controlled by the Tarrytown Fire Department.

No one was injured.

"We will be opening our doors on schedule, at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning (Saturday, May 3), Mrs. Green's CEO Robin S. Michel said, "After a day of cleaning, we're thrilled to be serving our community again."

"We are sincerely grateful to the Tarrytown Fire Department, Police Department and emergency services for their swift handling of the fire," Michel added. "From all of us at Mrs. Green's, we cannot thank them enough."

The store is open, seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. It is located between a CVS pharmacy and Pay Half in the space previously occupied by Tarrytown Gourmet. Free parking is available behind the store during store hours only.
