Tricky Kitty Rescue In Hospital Garage
It must have been an incredible journey for the fuzzy baby pulled from deep inside a car.

MOUNT KISCO, NY — Officers spurred by weakening cries from deep inside a car rescued a tiny, malnourished kitten in Mount Kisco Monday. But first they had to search hard to find it.
Westchester County Police and the Mount Kisco animal control officer were called to the parking garage at the Northern Westchester Hospital Center at about 11 a.m. by a security official who heard a cat crying in a car.
They searched the engine compartment and found nothing. They even took off the inner fender cover.

Finally, Animal Control Officer Donna Atkinson reached deep inside the wheel well and felt around. Kitten!
The car had Pennsylvania plates, and had been parked in the garage since Sunday. But police think the kitten had been in there even longer — possibly through the entire drive from PA.

Officers have of course named the rescuee: Kisco the Cat.
Atkinson took the kitten home last night to care for it.
