Key to Awesomeness: Jake Sussman has been an aspiring actor since he was in third grade at Roaring Brook Elementary School. The theater company at this school has a long and hallowed history. Full-scale productions are mounted annually and many of the students join in. After being in the Wizard of Oz, Sussman was bitten by the theater bug and has never looked back.
At Greeley, he has been in Evita, Baby With the Bathwater and The 25th Annual Putman County Spelling Bee. Sussman is currently in Pacific Overtures with the Little Village Playhouse and in The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later, at Greeley.

The two accomplishments of which Sussman is most proud are being selected as a member of the Enchords, an a capella group at school and gaining admittance into the Theatre Repertory Company, an advanced acting class.
As a volunteer with VIP soccer, he assists socially and mentally disabled children on the field.
Sussman sings the praises of his hometown. “We’re fortunate to go to Greeley,” he said. “I like the community,” he added.
