Police: Man Arrested in Deer Park CVS, Laundromat Armed Robberies
Robberies occurred early Monday morning, police say.

A Ronkonkoma man was arrested soon after he robbed two Deer Park businesses early Monday morning, police said.
Police say Shawn Goodall, 33, entered the CVS, located at 1944 Deer Park Avenue, and displayed a knife and demanded money at about 3:15 a.m.
Goodall fled the store without proceeds, police said.

About 45 minutes later, Goodall entered the Laundro Lux laundromat, located at 1929 Deer Park Avenue, displayed a knife and stole cash, police said.
Police tracked down Goodall and placed him under arrest at 4:17 a.m., according to court records.

Goodall is charged with two counts of first degree robbery. He is being held on $100,000 cash bail or $500,000 bond following arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday. He is due back in court on Friday.
In another armed robbery in the area on Monday, a North Babylon man was arrested after robbing a North Babylon gas station, police said.
