Almond's Next Artists & Writers Night Features Zachary Lazar
Almond announces the next "Artists & Writers Night" hosted by author Zachary Lazar on Tuesday, January 5 beginning at 7 p.m.
The night will feature a family style three-course menu created by executive chef Jason Weiner. The cost is $45, which includes a glass of local wine or craft beer, tax and gratuity. Reservations are required.
About Zachary Lazar
Zachary Lazar is the author of four books, including the novel Sway, chosen as a Best Book 0f 2008 by the Los Angeles Times, Rolling Stone, Publishers Weekly, and Newsday, and the memoir Eveningβs Empire: The story of My Fatherβs Murder, a Best Book of 2009 in the Chicago Tribune.

Lazar is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and the Hodder Fellowship at Princeton University. His work has appeared in the New York Times Magazine, NPR, the Los Angeles Times, Newsday, BOMB, Fence, Brick, and other publications. He lives in New Orleans, where he is on the faculty at Tulane University.
