Amagansett School Budget Passes, Board Member Elected

Amagansett residents approved the district’s $10.5 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 145-33, according to Newsday.

The budget represents a 1.09 percent spending increase over the current year and includes a 3.51 percent hike in the school tax levy.

On the Amagansett Board of Education, challenger Steven A. Graboski beat out Mary A. Lownes.
