ARF Announces Best Year in 40 Year History
2014 was a record-breaking year for the organization.

The Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons (ARF) announced on Friday that 2014 is already the best year in the organization’s 40 year history.

- 1,269 cats, kittens, dogs and puppies were rescued and brought to ARF.
- 1,236 animals were adopted, an 11% increase over last year (242 kittens, 91 cats, 488 puppies and 414 dogs).
- Over 1,000 animals spayed/neutered through their Operation Cat and our spay/neuter programs.
- Over $600,000 grossed at their most successful summer benefit.
“ARF is committed to this lifesaving work and is thankful for its adopters, donors, rescue partners and volunteers, with whom these achievements are made possible,” ARF wrote in a press release.
