Stony Hill Stables, nestled on ten secluded acres in Amagansett, NY is hosting pony rides to benefit equestrian scholarships for local children. Join us this Sunday, June 28, from 11 am - 1 pm.

You will literally be helping to make dreams come true!!
Established in 2012, the Stony Hill Stables Foundation is a not-for-profit program offering scholarships for equestrian training for local youth. The scholarship includes training lessons over a four-month or longer semester. Training includes hunter/jumper equitation or dressage training, horse care, clinics, and competitive show activity. The goal is to promote equine sports, riding education, and good sportsmanship, providing local children with a healthy and enhancing life experience. 
​Stony Hill Stables Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) program providing a unique atmosphere for local children to become skilled in equine sports, build friendships, and connect to the East End Community.

Join us as we welcome Lucy Raven and Alan Ruiz,
two artists at the forefront of new ideas that examine time, place, space, and who explore our human experience in the landscape and community. With a special introduction by Humberto Moro, Deputy Director of Program at Dia Art Foundation, this discussion celebrates the concurrent opening of two shows that explore evolution over time: <a href="https://www.thechurchsagharbor.org/this-land-considering-the-american-landscape" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">THIS LAND: Considering the American Landscape</a>at The Church (opening June 21, 2026) and <a href="https://diaart.org/exhibition/exhibitions-projects/alan-ruiz-exhibition" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">De sol a sol</a> at Dia Bridgehampton
(opening June 26, 2026), 
Raven and Ruiz will discuss their respective work before exploring the intersections between the two. Following the discussion there will be a Q&amp;A led by This Land exhibition curators Donna De Salvo
and Seph Rodney that will then open to questions from the audience. 
Raven, whose work Deposition, Dam Breach, 21, 2024 will be on view at The Church this summer, examines forces of pressure, industry, and material transformations that mark western American landscape. In the Depositions, Raven modelled a series of dam breaks, setting up container-scale breaches of earthen dams with temporary reservoirs whose fluctuating cycles of pressure and release are registered against their silk substrates demonstrating how the endurance of natural materials in the fluctuating cycles of pressure and release literally turn “land into landscape.” 
Ruiz, who is creating a new site-responsive work at Dia Bridgehampton, examines man-made landscapes and environments. By considering the physical sites and social relations behind industrial, institutional, and bureaucratic spaces, Ruiz juxtaposes the physical and historical, the man-made and the natural. Exploring Dia’s architecture and its previous lives as a fire station and First Baptist Church of Bridgehampton, as well considering the symbolic and layered meaning in the natural light of the East End, Ruiz leverages the viewers’ attention and perception, creating a unique experience within the space.

Project MOST is excited to announce their summer benefit - Making the MOST of Everyday - which will take place on Sunday, June 28from4-6 p.m.at Moby’s in East Hampton (341 Pantigo Rd.).The benefit will feature an afternoon of celebration and an opportunity to support scholarships, creative learning programs, and honor the champions, advocates, and donors who make Project MOST a cornerstone of youth enrichment in the community.
 
“I am continually inspired by the impact our programs have on young people and families in our community. This event is not just about raising funds; it’s about opening doors. Every dollar helps provide access, opportunity, and a sense of belonging for students who deserve the chance to thrive. We’re so grateful to everyone who joins us in making that possible,” shares Melanie Hayward, Project Most Board President.
As Project MOST marks its 25th anniversary this year, the organization will honor former East End resident Joe O’Connell at its annual summer benefit. Known to many as “Dr. Joe,” he had been a steadfast advocate for Project MOST, providing a generous early donation that helped launch the Springs School after-school program two decades ago.
Following a distinguished career in public education, Dr. Joe dedicated himself to addressing the unmet needs of children and families. He was a founding member of the East Hampton Youth Alliance, which offers young people a safe and supportive place to go after school. He also played a pivotal role in raising $4.4 million for the RecCenter capital campaign—now the East Hampton YMCA—and served as Vice President and Director of Operations from 1993 to 2000, continuing his leadership on the Board of Managers through 2003.
In addition, Dr. Joe founded and led the East End Initiative, which provides scholarships and financial assistance to low-income students, as well as grants to teachers developing innovative educational programs.
“We are thrilled to honor Joe at this year’s event. He was instrumental is getting our after-school program off the ground at Springs School 20 years ago. Dr. Joe had a big place in his heart for Project MOST and dedicated much of his life to supporting community projects. His generosity and commitment to Project MOST has helped shape what Project MOST offers today,” shares Project MOST Executive Director Rebecca Taylor.
The Summer Benefit will take place in the beautiful gardens at Moby’s featuring the soothing sounds of theBillO’Connell Jazz Trio along with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres as well as a silent auction and a paddle raise. The auction will go live online on June 25th. Tickets cost$150 per person or $250 per couple. St. Luke 's Episcopal Church

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church invites the community to the annual St. Luke’s Summer Fair on Saturday, July 5, on the church lawn in the heart of East Hampton Village.
A treasured East Hampton tradition, the Summer Fair is a joyful day for families, neighbors, parishioners, and summer visitors. Admission is free, and children’s wristbands will be available for $40 for children ages 2 and older to enjoy fair activities, including classic games, pony rides, and other family-friendly fun.
Guests can also enjoy a food stand, bake sale, vintage clothing, silent auction, and other favorite fair traditions. Proceeds from the Summer Fair support St. Luke’s and its outreach efforts, including local nonprofit partners such as Springs Food Pantry and Maureen’s Haven.
