East End Teachers Attend ESL And Bilingual Teachers Academy
The event was held at Stony Brook Southampton on Tuesday.

Teachers from Montauk, Springs, Southampton, Pierson and Hampton Bays, among others, attended the first East End English as a Second Language and Bilingual Teachers Academy on Tuesday, 27east reports.
Over 100 educators attended the professional development conference at Stony Brook Southampton on 39 Montauk Highway, organized by East Hampton’s ESL department, according to 27east.
“It’s the first year we’re doing this,” East Hampton’s ESL Director Elizabeth Reveiz told 27east. “Every year, there are three conferences available to the ESL community, but so many of them are far west, and there’s really nothing out here that’s accessible for our teachers.”
