Voters have decided on a proposed 2015-16 budget.

East Hampton residents approved the district’s $66 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 440-73, according to Newsday.

The budget represents a 1.55 percent spending increase over the current year and includes a 1.35 percent hike in the school tax levy.

With three seats up for grabs on the East Hampton Board of Education, incumbents Christina DeSanti and Elizabeth Pucci were re-elected with 370 and 395 votes, respectively. John Ryan Sr. received 311 votes and will serve a two-year term caused by the resignation of Patricia Hope in July. Incumbent Deme Minskoff received 286 votes.
