East Hampton Town Police Receive Recognition at 2014 Department Awards

East Hampton Town Police Chief Michael Sarlo presented the 2014 Department Awards at a department meeting on Tuesday.

Several officers received recognition for their work in the department including:

• Police Officer Arthur Scalzo, who was also the 2014 Police Officer of the Year
• Police Officer Joseph Izzo
• Police Officer David Martin
• Public Safety Dispatcher Darlene Semlear
• Police Officer Katie Izzo
• Police Officer Sarah Mortensen
• Police Officer Ken Alversa
• Police Officer Nate Osborn
• Police Officer Tom Strong
• Police Officer Vincent Rantinella
• Police Officer Michael Coleman
• Police Officer Frank Sokolowski
• Lieutenant Austin McGuire.

“Congratulations go out to all for their outstanding, professional and dedicated service to the Town and the Department,” a message on the East Hampton Town Police Department Facebook page read.
