East Hampton Woman Drove Drunk: Police
BREAKING: The woman was seen driving onto, and then off, the shoulder, police said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton woman was arrested after she was caught driving drunk, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Shawn C. Riddle, 31, was arrested on Feb. 15 at 1:18 a.m. on Three Mile Harbor Hog Creek Road after she was seen driving a 2011 Mitsubishi north, failing to maintain her lane, and driving off the road, onto the shoulder, and then re-entering the her lane of travel.
Upon investigation, she was found to have the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath, bloodshot, glassy eyes, slurred speech, and was unsteady on her feet, police said. She also performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests, police said.

Riddle was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, first offense, a misdemeanor, as well as aggravated DWI, per se: BAC of .18 of 1 percent or more alcohol in blood, no priors, a misdemeanor, police said.
Cash bail was set at $350, police said.
