Groundworks at Hrens Annual Holiday Open House

In the spirit of past holidays from the original Joseph A. Hren Nurseries, Groundworks is happy to bring back the spectacular HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE! The newly owned garden center renamed GROUNDWORKS @ HRENS, is located at 530 Montauk Highway in East Hampton, NY and will be holding the Open House on SATURDAY, December 5 from 9am-6pm and SUNDAY, December 6 from 9am-4pm.

COME VISIT SANTA! He will be here waiting to hear your wish list for this holiday on SATURDAY from 11-1 pm; and 2-4pm as well as on SUNDAY from 12-2pm. Take a mini-train ride while you wait! (weather permitting...)1000’s of ornaments, trees, wreaths and gifts to choose from at our garden center! 

PREMIERING ONCE AGAIN! ”DEPARTMENT 56 SNOW VILLAGE!” One of the grandest showcases of the holiday set up by Mary Jo Mackey and original proprietor Susan Warner. This beautifully placed village was her personal collection from many years for viewing purposes only and such a delight for the entire family!

HOLIDAY GIFT SHOPPE FUN! Enjoy a raffle and listening to music played by BRAD BEYER, an amazing pianist and artist, while finding some special gifts for your friends, families, teachers, etc... We have tree skirts, stands, light sets, stockings, holiday candles, soaps, roping, unique Ornaments by Themes (sports fans, foodies, musicians...) as well as numerous other holiday gifts.

MAKE YOUR OWN WREATH (or design it while we make it...!) while enjoying some of the eggnog and picking out that perfect tree from our Fraser Fir collection in all sizes (table top “Charlie Brown” with stands, 5-6 feet and up to 16 feet high!)

Finally, CHEERS!! to the first 100 persons to visit our Holiday Open House each day as you will receive a COMPLIMENTARY TOKEN OF OUR APPRECIATION for your business!
