HAH Monthly Lecture with Duncan Brine
Topic: ‘Naturalistic Landscape Design: Breaking Rules on Principle’ – Illustrated lecture by Duncan Brine. Duncan Brine, principal landscape designer at Garden Large and the naturalistic landscape design instructor at the New York Botanical Garden will speak on how naturalistic gardens are shaped in response to a property’s particular characteristics. Brine’s talk is accompanied by images of the 25 year-old, 6-acre, Brine Garden in New York’s Hudson Valley. Anne Raver of the New York Times describes the Brine Garden as ‘a dreamlike.
