Montauk School Budget Passes, Board Member Elected

Montauk residents approved the district’s $18.9 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 1,295-54, according to Newsday.

The budget represents a 1.97 percent spending increase over the current year.

On the Montauk Board of Education, Diane Hausman beat out challenger Carmine Marino Jr.
