New York Woman Charged With DWI: Police
The woman was pulled over for failing to dim her high beams, police said.

EAST HAMPTON, NY — A New York woman was charged with driving drunk in East Hampton recently, police said.
According to East Hampton Town Police, Susan Bratton, 54, was arrested on Jan. 27 at 8:36 p.m. on Cedar Street.
Police said she was driving a 2001 Audi sedan north on Stephen Hands Path when she failed to dim her high beams while approaching another vehicle.

She was found to have the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath, slurred speech, and bloodshot, glassy, eyes; she performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests administered, police said.
She was charged with driving while intoxicated, first offense, a misdemeanor, as well as operating a motor vehicle with .08 of 1 percent alcohol or more in blood, first offense, and released on her own recognizance, police said.
