Photo: Hopeful Fire Chief Throws Hat Into Ring, Runs Unopposed
John Glennon is so far running unopposed for the Chief's seat in the upcoming Amagansett Fire Department election.
EAST HAMPTON, NY —Two heroes shared a photo recently: Amagansett Fire Department 1st Assistant Chief John Glennon (left) has thrown his hat into the ring for the upcoming election and hopes to become Chief on April 12.
As of now, he is running unopposed for the position.
Vincent "Vinnie" Franzone (right) was sworn in as Chief of the Montauk Fire Department on January 1.
