Pierson High School Students Receive Suffolk Zone Award
Two students received the award at the Suffolk Zone dinner last Wednesday.

Pierson High School seniors Meg Schiavoni and Duncan Bennett were named the 2014-2015 Suffolk Zone Award recipients at the Suffolk Zone dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 3.
βDuncan and Meg are outstanding representatives of the Sag Harbor community and Pierson High School,β said Donnelly McGovern, the athletic director of the Sag Harbor School District. βThey are great role models for the younger students at Pierson and the honor they have received as recipients of the Suffolk Zone Awards for excellence in Physical Education exemplifies their character, leadership and commitment to working with others in a positive manner.β

The award, given by the Suffolk Zone of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, is presented to one male and one female from each Suffolk County high school.
