Police Seeking Sag Harbor Man Who Attempted to Rob Neighbor at Gunpoint
The incident occurred on Tuesday night.

Sag Harbor Village Police are looking for a Sag Harbor man who is accused of attempting to rob a neighbor at gunpoint at a Hillside Drive West residence on Tuesday night.
Police responded to a call of gunshots fired in the area of Hillside Drive West at approximately 7:40 p.m., according to Sag Harbor Police.

Upon arrival, police learned that a man identified as Ali Wisdom, 37, also a resident of Hillside Drive, entered a home on the same street and told the male resident, who knew Wisdom, that he wanted all his money, police said.

Wisdom then displayed what appeared to be a semi-automatic weapon and put it in the head of the resident, police said.
Wisdom then fired two shots at a TV set inside the home and the resident ran out an open back door and to a neighbor’s house, according to police.

Wisdom fired a third shot through the front window of the residence and then fled on foot, police said.
Emergency services responded along with K-9 and aviation in an attempt to find him, police said.
Wisdom is still at large. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Sag Harbor Village Police at 631-725-5167. All calls will be kept confidential.
