Popular Dentist Prepares to Bid Patients Adieu
A beloved local dentist is retiring by the end of the month.
EAST HAMPTON, NY — Montauk's "go to" dentist, and the Montauk Chamber of Commerce's 2010 Person of the Year, Dr. Daniel "Dan" Vasti, has been practicing retiring to his dental chair — but he is also retiring from his dental practice.
In the same location on South Embassy Street — think: the Pizza Village building — since 1975, his last official day will be January 23.
Vasti will stay to welcome and advise Dr. Kathryn Mirras and Dr. Michael Edwards, both of Wainscott Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, who will take over the Vasti office after Dan's retirement.
