The event takes place Sunday at Page Restaurant in Sag Harbor.

SAG HARBOR, NY — The public will get a chance Sunday to thank the hero firefighters who fought the Sag Harbor blaze in icy, pre-dawn conditions.
On Sunday, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Page Restaurant in Sag Harbor will host a four hour event to raise funds for the Sag Harbor Volunteer Fire Department. The funds raised for the fire department are used to help people in the community that are in need, or have suffered a loss; firefighting equipment and apparatus are purchased and paid for with taxpayer dollars, a release said.
Sag Harbor Fire Department Chief Tom Gardella has met with all of the fire wardens and officers of the SHFD, and has unanimously approved the fundraiser, a release said.
