Sag Harbor School Budget Passes, Board Members Elected
Voters have decided on a proposed 2015-16 budget.

Sag Harbor residents approved the district’s $37.5 million proposed budget on Tuesday by a margin of 720 to 246.
The budget represents a 1.85 percent spending increase over the current year and includes a 3.51 percent hike in the school tax levy.
On the Sag Harbor Board of Education, Stephanie Bitis and Thomas Schiavoni were both elected to three-year terms while Chris Tice was re-elected to a one year term and Thomas Schiavoni was re-elected to a three-year term.
