The Seafood Shop's Annual Polar Bear Plunge New Year's Day 2015

The Seafood Shop invites you to ring in the New Year by diving into the frigid waters of the North Atlantic Ocean at our annual Polar Bear Plunge to benefit Phoenix House. All Polar Bears and spectators are invited to assemble at Beach Lane Beach in Wainscott at 2:30 PM on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2015 to take the icy challenge. We look forward to seeing all our friends from the East End community - come cheer us on and join the fun! Polar Bears and observers can sign up for the event and/or make donations either in advance at The Seafood Shop (checks made out to Phoenix House, mailed to The Seafood Shop, P.O. Box 246 Wainscott, NY 11975) or on the beach the day of the plunge. The suggested donation is $20.

After the celebration in the surf, come join us at The Seafood Shop for hot chowder, hot chocolate, and other warm refreshments. We are located at 356 Montauk Hwy. in Wainscott.

Phoenix House is a non-profit provider of substance abuse treatment programs for adults and adolescents, including the Phoenix House Academy on Long Island, a residential high school for teen boys located in East Hampton.
