Southampton Hospital To Offer Free Hypnosis For Smoking Cessation
Free hypnosis will be offered on four different dates in Southampton, Montauk and Hampton Bays.

The American Cancer Society’s (ACS) annual Great American Smokeout will take place on Thursday, Nov. 20, encouraging smokers to use the date to make a plan to quit, or to plan in advance and quit smoking that day.
As part of the ACS effort, Southampton Hospital’s Ed & Phyllis Davis Wellness Institute will offer free sessions of the popular program, Hypnosis for Smoking Cessation with Albert R. O’Connell, III, a certified Hypnotist, NLP Practitioner, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and Addictions Specialist.
O’Connell is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and specializes in helping clients with smoking cessation. He is volunteering his time this month to help smokers quit.
