We serve Ukrainian citizens paroled into the U.S., as well as non-Ukrainians who resided in Ukraine and were paroled into the U.S. between February 24, 2022 and September 30, 2024. With locations in Garden City and Syosset we train over 2,000 children each week at every swim level from Beginner to Olympian. A 70-year-old man was killed after he was hit by a car while crossing a street in East Meadow Saturday evening.According to police, Surgit Singh was crossing Bellmore Avenue at the intersection of N. Jerusalem Avenue at 5:45 p.m. when he was hit by a 2015 Mercedes Benz.Singh suffered multiple injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead at 6:18 p.m.Police say the man that was driving the car remained at the scene, and a brake and safety check was conducted. The investigation is still ongoing.
