ICYMI: All Schools Closed in Farmingdale Friday

All Farmingdale schools will be closed on Friday, May 8 due to the traffic from the funeral of NYPD Officer Brian Moore.

From the Farmingdale School District:

We have been advised by the Nassau County Police Department that due to a local funeral for a fallen police officer there will be multiple road closures throughout Farmingdale. Consequently, the school district will not be able to transport students to and from school in a safe and timely manner on Friday, May 8th. Therefore, school will be closed tomorrow and all afternoon and evening activities will be cancelled.
