MSG Varsity to broadcast football marathon -Lawrence featured in lineup

To help ring in the New Year, MSG Varsity - Cablevision’s 24/7 Emmy Award winning high school network— will broadcast 24 hours of football on New Years Eve hosted by MSG Varsity football expert, Mike Quick.

Featuring some of the best matchups and playoff games from the 2012 season, starting at 6:00 a.m. on December 31st, fans can relive the excitement from some of the most memorable games in the tri-state area on Optimum channel 14.

“Looking back on a year filled with historic events in high school football, we wanted to bring our viewers the chance to see all the action again while celebrating the start of 2013,” said Michael Lardner, Senior Vice President and Executive Producer, MSG Varsity. “Games such as the Chaminade vs. St. Anthony’s upset and the Lawrence vs. Sayville rematch are what make high school football exciting to watch.”
