Cops Hunt Pair in Five Towns Popeye's Burglary
Photos released of two people wanted for questioning in January break-in, cops said.
Nassau County Police are searching for two people they believe are connected to a break-in at a Five Towns restaurant in January.
Cops released surveillance photos Tuesday of two people caught on camera in a black SUV. Police believe they are connected to an incident where someone broke into Popeye’s restaurant on Rockaway Turnpike at 6:10 a.m. on Jan. 18. The rear door of the restaurant had been pried open and an unsuccessful attempt was made at opening the restaurant safe, cops said.

The duo in the photos is wanted for questioning, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
