Duo Wanted For Spraying Graffiti on 28 Cars in Parking Garage

The two caused over $100,000 in damages to the cars, police say.

VALLEY STREAM, NY - Police are seeking two men who sprayed graffiti on the parking garage as well as 28 cars parked at Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream causing over $100,000 in damages on Sunday night.

The two entered the parking garage on 2034 Green Acres Mall between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 11:26 p.m. where they spray painted graffiti, including a racial slur, to garage floors and walls along with the vehicles belonging to Advantage Toyota parked on level four, police said.

The two caused a total of $ 111,000 in damages, police said.

The cars that were damaged were three 2017 Toyota Camry, eight 2016 Toyota Camry, one 2015 Toyota Camry, seven Toyota Rav 4, one Toyota Avalon, two Toyota Highlander, two 2014 Toyota Sienna, three 2016 Toyota Sienna, and one 2016 Toyota Tundra.

The first man is described as having a light complexion, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-7 with a medium build, between 16 and 20 years-old and wearing a white T-shirt, police said.

The second man is described as being 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-7 tall, with a slim build, between 16 and 20 years-old, wearing a red bandana, and a red/gray T-shirt.

Detectives request that anyone with information regarding this crime to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
