Inwood Man Charged with Lawrence Break-In
Police say he stole electronics from a home, as well as broke into cars.
An Inwood man was arrested and charged with a burglary that occurred in Lawrence on Sunday.
According to detectives, someone entered an Allen Street home and removed assorted electronics. Police say an investigation identified Anthony Rey Cruz, 19, of Mott Avenue as the suspect who committed this crime. He was placed under arrest at his home at 3:11 p.m. without incident. A subsequent investigation revealed that Cruz had also allegedly removed assorted property and money from vehicles on Allen Street, Caryl Drive and Rockaway Turnpike.
Cruz is charged with second degree burglary and five counts of petit larceny, and is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday at First District Court in Hempstead.
