Man Accused of Driving Drunk With Four Kids in Car Arraigned: DA
The Far Rockaway man faces a total of 9 charges.

INWOOD, NY - A Far Rockaway man accused of driving drunk with four children in his car in Inwood back in February was arraigned on nine counts on Wednesday, according to Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas.
Miguel Quezada, 28, was arraigned before Acting Supreme Court Justice William O’Brien on charges which included:
- four counts of operating a motor Vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs with a child (Leandra’s Law)
- four counts of endangering the welfare of a child
- operating of motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol
Quezada's bail was continued at $10,000 bond.

He is due back in court on April 6 and faces a maximum of up to over 1 year to 4 years in prison if convicted on the top charge, according to Singas.

On February 8, at 3:05 a.m., Quezada was driving a 2005 blue Toyota Sienna in Inwood with a 26- year old woman and four children ages two weeks old, two years old, three years old and eight years old, according to Singas.
He allegedly pulled out of a restaurant parking lot on 325 Rockaway Turnpike, when he was seen by police.
He was then stopped near the intersection of Burnside Avenue and Nassau Expressway where he was arrested, according to police.
