Man Attempts to Burglarize Woodmere Home
The 17-year-old resident spotted the man cutting the screen to the window, police say.
WOODMERE, NY - A man attempted to burglarize a Woodmere home on Friday afternoon, according to Nassau County Police.
A 17-year-old female returned home to her North Central Avenue home and when she saw a man at the rear window, cutting the screen at about 2:17 p.m., police said.
The man, described as 30-years-old, wearing grey hooded sweatshirt and black gloves, fled in an unknown direction, according to police.
