Man Robs Valley Stream 7-Eleven at Knifepoint
The man stole cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets from the store.

A man robbed a Valley Stream 7-Eleven at knifepoint early Friday morning, according to Nassau County Police.
An man entered the store on 190 North Central Avenue and approached a 60-year-old male clerk at about 3:40 a.m.
The robber displayed a large knife and demanded the clerk open the register for cash, police said.

After the clerk complied, the man fled on foot north on Central Avenue after taking cash, cigarettes, and scratch off lottery tickets, according to police.
There were no customers and one employee in the store at the time of the robber. No injuries were reported.

The man is described as 5-foot-8, with thin build, wearing a gray hooded sweat shirt that had “Victory” written on back, black gloves, and a dark scarf around his face, police said.
Detectives request that anyone with information regarding this crime to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
