Nassau Police Searching For Smash-And-Grab Burglar
BREAKING: The man smashed the door of a store and stole merchandise before quickly fleeing.
Police are searching for a man that smashed the front window of a store in Valley Stream early Thursday morning and robbed it.
According to detectives, a man smashed the front glass door of Express C Store, located at 749 Merrick Road, at 1:24 a.m. Once inside, the man stole lottery scratch-off tickets, cigarette boxes and then fled the scene into a waiting car.
Police say the burglar is either Hispanic or light-skinned black. The passenger in the car is was a white or Hispanic woman. The driver’s description is unknown.
