Nassau County Police released surveillance photos Thursday of people they say stole thousands from a Hewlett man by stealing his debit card in December.
At 9 p.m. Dec. 19, the victim discovered his Citibank debit card was missing, cops said. Soon after, he was alerted by his bank that his account had been closed after $6,178.25 were fraudulently withdrawn, police said.
