Police Seeking Help Identifying Woman Who Cashed Fraudulent Checks
She cashed more than $2,000 worth of checks last April.
The Nassau County Police Department is searching for a woman who cashed fraudulent checks in Lawrence last April.
According to police, between April 20, 2015 and April 23, 2015, the woman fraudulently deposited and cashed multiple checks totaling $2067.20 at the Bank of America, located at 400 Central Ave. in Lawrence.
The police are asking anyone who can identify the woman, or with any information about this crime, to call Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-244-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous.
