Trio Assault, Rob Man in Elmont
The man was hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries.

ELMONT, NY - Police are seeking three men who assaulted and robbed a man in Elmont early Saturday morning, according to Nassau Police
A 24-year-old man was walking on Hempstead Turnpike near Wellington Road when he was approached from behind by three men at about 2:30 a.m.
The trio pushed him to the ground and began hitting and kicking him.

They then took the man's wallet containing cash and two debit cards before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The man was driven to the hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries.

One of the men is described as light skin with a goatee, wearing a black hat. There was no further description given for the other two men.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
