Valley Stream Man Arrested For Stealing Teen's Backpack: Cops
The man worked with another person who has not yet been apprehended to rob the teen, police say.
VALLEY STREAM, NY - A Valley Stream man was arrested for robbing a teen on Tuesday afternoon, according to Nassau Police.
Kevin DCosta, 19, working with another person who has not yet been apprehended, approached a 17-year-old boy on W. Merrick Road and took his backpack at about 1:48 p.m.
DCosta knew the 17-year-old boy, police said.

He was arrested on Tuesday at Louise Place in Valley Stream.
He is being charged with second degree robbery and will be arraigned on Wednesday, police said.
