Valley Stream Teens Charged With Robbing Teen: Police
The teen was hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries after the duo punched him in the face, police say.

VALLEY STREAM, NY - Two Valley Stream teens were arrested for robbing another teen in Valley Stream on Wednesday afternoon, according to Nassau Police.
A 16-year-old boy was walking with a friend on Haven Avenue when a late model Nissan Maxima approached him from behind at about 3:45 p.m.
When the car stopped, 16-year-old Joshua Hayes and 17-year-old Chidinma Ochi exited, punched the teen in the face and demanded property, police said.

The duo then took the teen's iPhone 6 and fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said.
The teen was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries, police said.

After an investigation, on Wednesday, detectives arrested Hayes, at his home, police said.
Ochi, surrendered to the Nassau County Police Department on Thursday, police said.
Both are being charged with second degree robbery, according to police.
