Cops: Man Stole Credit Cards at Gym, Used Them at Roosevelt Field

A man stole credit cards from an East Garden City gym and used them to shop at Roosevelt Field Mall, according to Nassau County Police.

Detectives released two surveillance photos Wednesday that show the subject shopping in the Gucci section of Bloomingdale’s at the mall.

At 5 p.m. on June 23, police said the subject broke into two lockers at Xsport in East Garden City and stole several items, including credit cards. Later, surveillance captured the man using the card at Bloomingdale’s and the cards recorded other purchases at Victoria’s Secret and Nordstrom, cops said.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
