HEMPSTEAD TOWN, NY — Hempstead Town Hall and other town facilities are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, cutting off many residents from their sources of information about the township. To help keep people informed, Supervisor Don Clavin announced today that the town would be hosting a series of Facebook Live events to give residents information and answer their questions.

The Facebook Live events will be hosted by Clavin and Town Coronavirus Task Force members Councilman Anthony D’Esposito and Town of Hempstead Medical Director Dr. Dave Neubert on Friday, April 17, Monday, April 20 and Friday, April 24, all at 2 p.m. Residents can ask questions during the sessions and receive answers direct from members of the task force.

“The Town of Hempstead is committed to keeping residents safe, healthy and informed in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Clavin said. “We encourage all residents to join us on these Facebook Live sessions to obtain important information about town government and participate in a Q&A forum so that we can all be better informed and better prepared.”
