Construction Worker Dies After Becoming Submerged During Water Main Break: PD (patch.com) — Residents in East Garden City are learning more about a tragic construction accident near Ring Road, where a 56-year-old worker from West Babylon became submerged during a water main break. Coworkers pulled him out and first responders tried lifesaving measures before he was pronounced dead at a local hospital, and Nassau County police say the investigation is ongoing.
