High School Students Appointed to Environmental Advisory Board

This Board reports on environmental matters affecting the Village.

Village Trustees appointed three Garden City High School students to serve on the Village’s Environmental Advisory Board (EAB) during a November 1, 2018 meeting at Village Hall.

  • Aidan Pfaff, who was unable to attend the Board meeting, is a senior at Garden City High School. He intends to study physics and engineering at college. This is Aidan’s second year as an EAB representative. Last year's research project studied leaf blowers and their environmental impact.
  • Adam Baksh is a junior at Garden City High School. He has participated in local/regional science competitions and hopes to work at NYU-Winthrop this summer.
  • Ian Bailey is a sophomore at Garden City High School. Last summer, he conducted work at Molloy College and has also participated in regional/local science competitions.
