Nassau County District 1 Results: Abrahams Keeps His Seat
Kevan Abrahams held off a challenge from Cherice P. Vanderhall.
The results are in for Nassau County's 1st District, and incumbent Kevan Abrahams retained his seat.
In unofficial results on Election Night, Abrahams, a Democrat, received 6,153 votes, with 75 percent of precincts reporting. His challenger, Republican Cherice P. Vanderhall, received 1,131 votes.
Abrahams is currently the Minority Leader of the Nassau County Legislature.
