GARDEN CITY, NY — The results are in for the mayor of Garden City.
Mary Carter Flanagan defeated Judy Courtney, 1,351-1,226.
Current mayor Cosmo Veneziale fell short of his bid to win a seat on the Board of Trustees.

Veneziale, who has lived in Garden City for 30 years, took the oath as the village's mayor in 2021.
