Police Release Photo of Man Wanted in Local Armed Robberies
Four robberies reported in February and March, cops said.

Nassau County Police are searching for a man who robbed several nearby stores at knifepoint.
Police released a surveillance photo of the subject who reportedly approaches store clerks with a kitchen knife, demands cash from registers, and flees taking the entire cash drawer with him.

- Feb. 9 at 9:21 p.m., Shell Gas Station, 928 Rosedale Road, North Woodmere
- Feb. 24 at 2:17 p.m., Evans Corner, 962 Rockaway Avenue, Valley Stream
- March 10 at 8:24 p.m., North Central Liquors, 339 N. Central Avenue, Valley Stream
- March 11 at 8:45 p.m., Dragon Garden, 105 Rockaway Avenue, Valley Stream

The subject is described as a black man, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot, and thin build. He has been seen wearing a black jacket, hooded sweatshirt underneath, gloves, and white soled sneakers. He also has a ski mask or scarf covering his lower face.

On Feb. 24, he was seen getting into a white Hyundai-type car with yellow New York plates.
Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
