Reminder: 'Christmas Spectacular on Seventh Street' is Tonight
Celebration kicks off at 5 p.m.

Get into the holiday spirit at the first ever “Christmas Spectacular on Seventh Street” Friday, Dec. 12.
The event, to be held between 5 and 10 p.m., will include holiday carolers, a live performance by the popular band Fivestone, a special visit from Queen Elsa and her sister, Princess Anna, who will also perform, and of course, Santa Claus himself.
All Seventh Street shops will remain open for holiday shopping.

John Reid and his talented team return to Garden City to offer face painting and balloon twisting inside TCBY. There will also be hayrides and a firetruck for the youngsters.
“I hope that you and your families will attend this wonderful event to celebrate Christmas,” Mayor John Watras said.

Adding a festive flair to the holiday promenade will be drums of fire, manned by Garden City firefighters, and lighted trees along Seventh Street.
“There’s going to be a real Christmas atmosphere on Seventh Street,” Trustee Dennis Donnelly said.
Seventh Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic and parking beginning at 5 p.m.
