Trump's First 100 Days: A Hofstra Discussion
Hofstra will be holding a special talk on the highs and lows of the new administration.

Saturday, April 29 is President Donald Trump's 100th day in office. To mark the occasion, Hofstra University will be hosting a special talk on Thursday with both Republican and Democratic experts.
The university will be bringing together Howard dean, former Democratic National Convention Committee Chair; Edward Rollins, a Republican strategist; and Laura Figueroa, a political reporter for Newsday, for a panel discussion sponsored by the Peter S. Kalikow Center for the Study of the American Presidency.
The panel will be moderated by Kalikow Center Director and Hofstra political science professor Meena Bose. it will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. in the Student Center Theater on the North Campus. Admission is free and open to the public, but advance registration is recommended.

All of the panelists have impressive credentials. Dean was the six-term governor of Vermont who ran for president in 2004. Rollins has been involved in the campaigns of 10 different presidents and served in the administrations of four. And Figueroa is a national politics reporter who covered the 2016 election extensively.
